Living Donor Athletes
Can living donors resume a normal life after donation? That is one of the most frequent questions asked by potential living donors. Many donors are physically active--even professional athletes--and want to know if they can continue that level of activity after donation.
While every donor's experience is different, most donors are able to continue normal lives after donation, including athletic activities. As evidence, here are pictures of living donor athletes (photos courtesy of Father Pat Sullivan).
